"Oscar"

The assignment was to create a concert poster that featured a picture of ourselves playing at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This was quite an intimidating assignment, because I have never worked with images of myself before, but I really like how it turned out.

When coming up with the concept for this assignment I spent a lot of time looking at my name from a typographic aspect and figured that I could interlink the curvy letters somehow. From there, I found this beautiful font and found a way to work in the A and R to continue the flow of the text.

This project won a bronze award at the 2024 AAF Lansing student awards.
